Application guide

  1. Select Application Type
    Choose whether you are applying as an Individual or Corporate member.

  2. Choose Membership Class
    E.g., Full Member, Associate, Student, or Corporate (Platinum, Gold, Silver).

  3. Select Membership Category/Region
    eg. Nairobi Region, Nyaza/Western Region

  4. Create Account
    Provide your personal details to create a user account on the system.

  5. Enter Your Information
    Fill in academic and professional background as required.

  6. Upload Supporting Documents
    Upload all required files (certificates, ID/passport photo, resume, etc.).

  7. Submit application for review.
    Finish and Pay later after verification by MSK Team. Payment is made only after review and verification by the MSK team.

  8. Await Verification
      The MSK Team will review your submission. You will receive either:
     --Approval Email with payment instructions
     --Regret Email with feedback if the application does not meet requirements  

  9. Make Payment  
    Pay the applicable membership fees securely via the platform.

  10. Final approval and welcome!
    After payment confirmation, you will receive a Welcome Email with how to access your member's portal!

Application Requirements

A. INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP

1. FULL MEMBER (MMSK)

Eligibility is open to

  • Marketing graduates with over 2 year experience in a marketing environment.
  • Marketing graduate with MSK certificate or Diploma.
  • Graduate of MSK course or Diploma, with over three years’ experience in a marketing environment.
  • University graduate with MSK course or executive diploma and three years working experience.
  • At least three years marketing experience with marketing qualifications that the committee will recognize as adequate.
Required attachments: Certified copy of  academic certificate from recognized institution, Resume and passport photo.

2. ASSOCIATE MEMBER (AMSK)

  • Fresh Marketing graduates.
  • Non-Marketing graduates employed in a marketing related job or are pursuing the MSK practitioners course, or,
  • Non-University graduates with at least three years’ experience in a Marketing-related job and a diploma in marketing.
  • Non-marketing graduates with at least one year experience in a marketing related job.
Required attachments: Certified copy of academic certificate, Resume, passport photo and endorsement letter from Employer.

3. STUDENTS MEMBERS (SMSK)

This cadre of membership is open to Marketing students at University or recognized Institutions of higher learning. Students here may also join through a marketing organization.

Required attachments: Student Card/ID, passport photo and letter of recommendation from Institution of Study.

B. CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP

1. CORPORATE MEMBER - PLATINUM (CPMSK)

QUALIFICATIONS:-

More than 15 employees or with a turnover above 50 million per year and practicing marketing.

Required attachments: Certificate of Incorporation, KRA Pin, most recent audited accounts. 

2. CORPORATE MEMBER - GOLD (CGMSK)

QUALIFICATIONS:-

Any company with less than 15 employees and annual turnover of less than 50 million and professing Marketing.

Required attachments: Certificate of Incorporation, KRA Pin, most recent audited accounts. 

3. CORPORATE MEMBERS - SILVER (CSMSK)

QUALIFICATIONS:-

Micro Small Enterprise & New Startup businesses with an Annual Turnover of ≤5Million

Required attachments: Certificate of Incorporation, KRA Pin, most recent audited accounts.
